St. Paul.  Bill Strusinski, of the Libby Law Office in St. Paul, has been named a 2023 Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics.  The awards were announced on November 14, based on nominations for excellence in state or federal lobbying in 2023.

In the past year, Strusinski successes included appropriations for the Scandia Heritage Alliance and the City of Scandia for capital budget initiatives. Strusinski has lobbied at the State Capitol since 1973, and is a former Minnesota Commissioner of Administration. He is also a decorated veteran who served as a U.S. Army medic in the Vietnam War, and a graduate of Minnesota State University – Mankato.

When asked about the award and his work, Strusinski said “I have been involved in the development of good public policy for over 50 years. What I enjoy the most about my profession is the ability to empower ordinary citizens to do extraordinary things and to solve complex problems in a manner that enriches all of us. We must use civil discourse to express our beliefs and move us forward as a democracy!”
